Nick Palmer was born in St. Paul, MN in 1984 missing his right hand. He began playing sports at a very young age, such as: baseball, football, basketball and wrestling. In his youth, he was a MVP football player and took first place in a state wrestling tournament at ten-years-old.
As an adult, Nick focused on training and competing in Mixed Mrtial Arts and Kickboxing, but he has shifted focus to Jiu Jitsu and Submission Wrestling. So far, he has won a gold medal at the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam in Los Angeles, CA and gold at the Para World Championship in Long Beach, CA in 2017.
For the Minnesota-native continues to train and compete in his sport. He is a passionate advocate about his role as a volunteer coach at NubAbility’s limb different sport camp. We love Coach Nick!
