About Trevor

Limb Difference: Congenital

Type: Missing Right Arm, Underdeveloped Left Arm

Sport: Football, Basketball

Trevor was born with Hypertension Ulna Syndrome, which caused his limb difference. He is missing his right arm and has an underdeveloped left arm which has three digits.

In 2019, Trevor connected with the team at Advanced Arm Dynamics in Cleveland, Ohio. After exploring an array of prosthetic arms, Trevor settled on a bio-electric prosthetic, which is controlled by two sensors on his front arm and back shoulder. These sensors allow Trevor to control the elbow, hand and wrist. He can rotate his wrist 360 degrees inwards and outwards, which gives him a dynamic range of motion. The prosthetic also features an adjustable shoulder, which he can control with a latch.

Currently, Trevor is majoring in Early Childhood Education and minoring in Reading at Indiana University East. One day, he hopes to become an elementary school English teacher.
