Our focus is on mainstream sports, rather than just adaptive sports. This means that our campers can go home and play on their school and community teams, just like any other athlete. We believe in providing opportunities for our athletes to thrive in both sports and in life.
We Promote Potential by example: limb-different coaches for limb-different children
All of our coaches are limb-different athletes who have played at the high school varsity level or higher. More than 70 percent have even played college sports. We are proud to have accomplished limb-different athletes as coaches and mentors for our young athletes.
Nub Ability Athletics wants to serve as many limb-different youths as possible and give them the courage and confidence to engage and overcome challenges on and off the field.
Helping our kids see their true athletic and life potential
We understand that many limb-different youths will be given challenges in their youth that will shape their adulthood. That's why our matching of limb-different children with limb-different coaches who instruct and inspire is so absolutely essential. We never use the term “disabled” or have the mindset that our kids are disabled. They can do what they set their minds to—they might do it differently, but they can do it.
