Welcome to Deer Camp

Yes, if you have a crossbow that you are comfortable using for hunting, you may bring it. Once here, it will be tested by our team of coaches to ensure that it is safe and efficient for the hunt. If our team of coaches decides the crossbow is not secure, you will be able to use one of our approved crossbows.

We will be spread out on private property, hunting from ground blinds.

Yes, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided each day.

We have had a great supporter who also does taxidermy offer their services free of charge. If a buck is taken, we will field-dress the animal and have the taxidermist come and cape it out. He will then provide the taxidermy work free of charge. The only cost you will have will be the shipping cost.

We use BOG Pods to stabilize the crossbows. Before we enter the blind, we will conduct a simulated 3D range behind NubAbility, allowing everyone to become comfortable with how they will hunt from the blind. This will include using a range finder and getting on target.

We will provide hats and shirts to wear during the hunt. If weather conditions are not conducive to what we provide, you are more than welcome to wear your own camo; however, for photos and videos, we ask that the gear we provide is on your person.

We will have one coach/guide, one athlete, and one parent per blind. The only exception to this number is when our Social Media/Marketing Coordinator is capturing content with the group.
