What NubAbility Means to Keenan

To me, NubAbility is more than a camp or an organization—it’s family. It’s a place where athletes like myself look different move the same: with drive, grit, and most importantly heart. It’s where kids learn that their so-called “limitations” are actually their strengths, and where coaches like me get the chance to pour belief into the next generation of adaptive athletes.

NubAbility means connection. It means standing shoulder to shoulder with warriors who prove every single day that the game isn’t about what you’re missing—it’s about what you bring. It’s the smiles, the breakthroughs, the confidence gained when a kid realizes, “Yeah, I can do this.”

Most of all, NubAbility represents hope. Hope for adaptive athletes to see themselves in the game, hope for inclusion in every sport, and hope that the world begins to recognize ability over disability.
